LOVELY EXAMPLE with CHROME WIRES & OVERDRIVE

The Triumph TR4 was Produced Between 1961 and 1965 as the Replacement for the Successful TR3 models. Styled by Michelotti of Italy, the New Shape being Far More Modern, Incorporating a Curved Windscreen and No Longer Fitted with Cut-Away Doors.

This Allowed the use of Wind-Up Windows to Replace the Previous Models Removable Sidescreens. Other changes included the Increased Engine Capacity from 1991cc to 2138cc, an All Synchromesh 4 Speed Gearbox with Optional Overdrive and Rack and Pinion Steering. The TR4’s were Fitted with Steel Wheels as Standard, with Wire Wheels an Optional Extra.

Optioned with Both the aforementioned Overdrive and Wire Wheels this TR4 has been Further Enhanced with an Alternator, Brake Booster Hi-Torque Starter Motor and a Retro Sound Radio.

Presenting Sharply in Chrome Accented Red, the Triumph has been Recently Re-Trimmed with White Piping Contrasting the Lovely Black Upholstery, while Complementing the Original, Painted White Dashboard.

The Combination of the TR4’s Light Weight of Just 996kg, its Lively 4 Cylinder Engine Producing 105BHP and 4 Speed All Synchro Gearbox with Overdrive, Provides a Very Competent Period Performance Package.
