1961 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK II (BT7)

LMCT 7819
SN:3603

HOMOLOGATION SPECIAL: FACTORY TRI-CARB

Introduced in March of 1959 the 3000 MkII was developed to keep the Factory Healey Rally cars competitive, by fitting Triple HS4 SU Carburettors the Works Rally cars were given FIA clearance to run Triple DCOE45 Webers, vastly improving performance and throttle response.

Built in late September of 1961, this Factory Tri-Carb 3000 was delivered new to Los Angeles California. Imported to Australia in February of 2011 the Mk II was purchased by a long time Healey Enthusiast and Restorer who started the 4 year process of Restoration.

Finished in Colorado Red, with complementing Bright Chrome work including 72 Spoke Chrome Wire wheels, with the Black trim work Accented by Red piping adding a Dash of Colour and tying the colour scheme together.

Supported by a large file of receipts from the Restorer, documenting the new components bought and work carried out on this BT7 we were very happy with the Performance, even in Factory Standard Specification.

Priced without Reg, Talk to us about Reg, Club or Other Plate Options.
