The iconic Mk 2 is Jaguar’s archetype sports sedan with its enduring shape, style and performance, regarded as one of the finest sports saloons ever made. Built from late 1959, in Coventry England with production continuing until 1967, a total of 83,976 examples were produced, including 2.4L, 3.4L and 3.8L variants all available with either automatic or manual transmissions.

This beautiful MK II has been through a ‘Nut-and-Bolt Restoration’ by ‘Resto Pros’ of Hanwood NSW, completed in 2018. Following a bare-metal re-spray, the Jag is finished in stunning Opalescent Grey, with sparkling chrome wire wheels and superb polished brightwork, giving great eye appeal and sure to draw all the right attention.

The interior has been finished to an exceptional standard with Maroon leather trim and contrasting fawn headliner accented by the lovely burr walnut dashboard and door cappings, features an Alpine Bluetooth head unit and is further enhanced by air-conditioning, providing year round comfort.

This Jaguar is now equipped with a reconditioned 3.8 litre 6 cylinder engine, matched to a 5-speed Toyota manual transmission with new clutch, alloy radiator and power steering. H4 headlights improve nighttime visibility. A detailed history file, with photos and restoration receipts as well as recent mechanical improvements by the current owner, completed by Mike Roddy Jaguar and Caulfield Jag to maintain the graceful to a high standard cat are included.
