The Third Generation Thunderbird (1961-1963) often referred to as the ‘Bulletbird’ due to the Bullet Shaped Side Profile, were All Fitted with the No-Option 390ci FE Series V8, Auto Transmission, Power Steering and Power Assisted Brakes. Available as either a Base Hardtop, or an Optional Convertible, the Convertible accounted for Less Than 15% of 1961’s production, they Marketed the ‘New’ Thunderbird promoting it’s Sports Car Grace, and Elegant Styling.
