Released in 1958 to Rave Reviews the All New Austin Healey Sprite was an Immediate Success, with its Spritely Performance and Precise Handling, Selling 48,987 Units in their 3 Year Production Run. Sprites were very Successful in all levels of Motorsport and chalked class wins at Sebring, the Alpine Rally and many more, including 12th outright at LeMans in 1965.

Of the 894 MkI Sprites built in Australia at the BMC assembly plant in Sydney this Sprite is a very late Example to come out of the Enfield plant.
