AUSTRALIAN COUPE WITH FANTASTIC HISTORY

The 911SC’s 3 Litre Engine was Completely Redesigned for the New 911 3.2 Carrera, with the Displacement Uprated to 3164cc, Providing Both a Power and Torque Increase. To Further Improve the New Generation, the Disc Brake Rotors were Enlarged, Allowing Better Heat Regulation, the Serpentine Oil Lines were Replaced by a Finned Oil Cooler, and Hydraulic Chain Tensioners were Fitted as Standard.

Sold New in November of 1986, by ‘Chris Taylor Motors’ of 22 Mercer Street Geelong, this Grand Prix White Example was Optioned with 8 Way Adjustable Sport Seats, Sitting 20mm Lower than the Pre 1986 Examples, Allowing for Increased Headroom.

Known as the Last of the Simple 911’s the 3.2 Carrera is Highly Regarded for being Strong and Reliable, with this 1986 ‘G-Program’ Example Proving to be just that, with the Last Ownership Consisting of 161,000km of use, over the Span of 18 Years.

A Cronologically Organised Folio of Invoices Details all Works Completed under the last Custodianship, Dating Back to March 2001 when a Pre-Purchase Inspection was Undertaken by Fitzgerald Racing Services for the then, Soon to be Owner.

In August of 2004, with 169,945km on the Odometer a Melbourne based Porsche Specialist was Enlisted, for a Complete Engine and Gearbox Rebuild, at Which Time the Work Included, but was Not Limited to: Reconditioning of the Cylinder Heads, New Piston Rings and Valves, Replacement of 1st Gear’s Dog Teeth and 4 New Syncros in the 915 Transmission.
