A 5 SPEED WHITE WONDER

The 3000 Mk1 was the First of the Big Healeys to use the New 3 Litre Version of the BMC ‘C’ Series Engine (2912cc). With its Increased Capacity and Improved 12 Port Cylinder Head Design, the Performance of the Mk1 was Noticeably Superior to its Predecessor, the 100/6’s engine of only 2639cc.

This White BT7 built in June 1959 Presents Well, the Interior having been Retrimmed Throughout in Dark Blue with Matching Carpets. A Fully Lined Removable Hard Top Roof is also fitted and will Improve the Occupants Comfort in Inclement Weather. The Cockpit is Standard apart from the Period Correct Woodrim Steering Wheel and the fitting of an Ammeter and Clock on the Passenger Side.

Mechanical Improvements Include: Twin 2” SU Carburettors with Cable Operated Throttle Linkage, Electronic Ignition, a Solid State Fuel Pump, an Extractor Exhaust System, Alloy Sump, Spin-On Oil Filter Conversion, an Alternator and the Tremec 5 Speed Gearbox.

Other Period Upgrades Include: an Alloy Flip Top Fuel Filler Cap, Alloy Radiator and Texas Cooler Fan, Rally Vents in the Front Guards (to Reduce Engine Bay Temperature), 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels and an Original Koni Shock Absorber Kit Fitted Both Front and Rear to provide Improved Roadholding.

The BT7 Drives Well with Excellent Period Performance from the Improved 3 litre Six Cylinder Engine, Driven through the Modern, Smooth and Precise Tremec 5 Speed Gearbox.
