OUTRIGHT CONCOURS WINNING MGA

The MGA 1500 is still today regarded as one of England’s great iconic vehicles which retains the spirit of classic sports car motoring – 2 seats, convertible, spirited engine and precise steering, all in a light, aerodynamic body.

The MGA was the first MG with the body to be made entirely from pressed steel parts welded together, resulting in a significantly stronger and stiffer body unit, unlike the earlier cars (TC, TD, TF) with their combinations of steel and wood. The stylish MGA was exceptionally popular in the market with 101,476 units produced between 1955 and 1962.

This MGA was restored from the ground up, between 1990 and 1994. The ‘A’ was successfully campaigned in Concours events beginning as a rolling chassis in 1990 all the way through to 2022, even earning a place in advertisement for Pentrite lubricants.

The lively 1500cc four cylinder engine coupled to the precise four speed gearbox provides good period performance, ably matched by the good handling that these new ‘A’ types provided. This A will allow you to enjoy a true British classic sports car, cruising the open road or winding through the hills using your driving skills to make every drive an exciting new experience.
