AUSTRALIAN DELIVERED – EARLY 2000’s RESTO

Introduced in August 1955, and Built for 12 Months, Only 3924 BN2’s were Built, Representing Just 26.85% of Austin Healey 100 Production. The BN2 was Upgraded with Austin’s New 4 Speed Gearbox, More Efficient Front Drum Brakes and Benefited from All the Production Upgrades Made Throughout the BN1’s Production, Including, but Not Limited To the Hypoid Differential with 5 Stud Rear Axles, that was Strong Enough to be Retained for the Entire Remaining Austin Healey Line Up.

This Australian Delivered BN2 underwent a Comprehensive Restoration in the Early 2000’s which included a Complete Engine Rebuild by “Motor Improvement”s and Retrim by “Blackmans”. The File Accompanying the BN2 Details the Various Expenditures and is accompanied the Healey’s Heritage Certificate.

Finished in British Racing Green, with Sparkling Chrome Wire Wheels and a Dark Green Interior with Contrasting Bone Seats, Featuring Dark Green Piping, this BN2 is sure to Draw the Right Attention.

The Weather Equipment Comprises of a Soft-Top Hood in Dark Green Quality Fabric as well as Matching Tonneau Cover and SideScreens, which both have Custom Made Storage Bags, for their Protection when Stowed.

Mechanically the BN2 was built to Factory Specification, with the Torque Filled 4 Cylinder Engine Still Providing Impressive Pulling Power, Driven Through the 4 Speed Overdrive Gearbox, Allowing you to Drive Spiritedly Through the Hills, While Still Having the Gearing to Cruise the Country Side.

The only Deviations are the Fitment of a Multi-Blade Plastic Cooling Fan, a Period ‘Speco’ Finned Alloy Rocker Cover and an Additional Electric Fuel Pump and Filter, while the exterior now features a Pair of 5” Driving Lights and Rear Indicators have been Relocated to the Rear Reflector Housings.
