FRESHLY RESTORED, MELBOURNE DELIVERED 100

Penned by Gerry Coker in 1952, the iconic Austin Healey 100 showed the world how British ingenuity could transform a docile drive train into a true sports car that could reach speeds over 100mph, and maintain such speed comfortably for hours.

This Stunning BN1 finished it’s production on the 14th of February 1955, and made it’s way across the globe to be delivered new to Rochester Victoria painted in Carmine Red with Red Trim.

Having lived a charmed life with one of it’s early owners maintaining possession for over 40 years, this 100 was subject to a complete and thorough chassis up restoration spanning 5 years, finishing in August 2016. Since then the Healey has been kept in a collection, only being driven a total of 37 miles!

Fitted with a 4 Speed Manual with Overdrive from a later BN2, the Fantastic Torque delivery from the Rebuilt Original 2.6L 4 Cylinder provides Wonderful, Lusty Performance. The Healey 100 has been fitted with a Number of Performance Improvements including: Twin 1.75 inch H6 SU Carburettors with 100M style Cold Airbox, Extractor Exhaust system, a Hi-Torque Starter, ‘Texas Kooler’ engine fan, a Spin-On Oil Filter Conversion as well as Mk1 3000 Healey Front Disc Brakes.

Presenting ‘Better Than New’, Repainted in the Original Carmine Red, with Matching New Red Trim, including a combination of Leather, Thick Pile carpet and Healey Correct Armacord. Finished with 72 Spoke Chrome Dayton Wire Wheels this BN1 has been Restored to a Standard that would Delight both Enthusiast and Collector alike this Austin Healey is worth a trip out to Melbourne’s East to inspect.
