HIGH LUSTRE WITH EXTRA PERFORMANCE

The MG TF was introduced in 1953 and continued until the introduction of the MGA in 1955. TF’s represent the final development of the ‘traditional’ MG’s and have the independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering.

Fitted with its original XPAG 1250cc engine, this TF is noted as being upgraded to ‘1500’ specifications and as such benefits from the increased engine capacity leading to much improved driving and touring capabilities.

An older restoration, finished in iconic ‘MG Red’ this restored MG TF still holds a high lustre, complemented by lovely brightwork, including 60 spoke 15” chrome wire wheels, twin Lucas driving lamps, badge bar and ‘MG’ emblazoned ‘knock-ons’, however is showing signs of paintwork deterioration.

The interior is trimmed in biscuit with leather seats, contrasting the black carpets and body matched dashboard. The MG is accompanied by a high quality Black Mercedes cloth hood and tonneau cover with a full set of side curtains.

This TF is ready for its next custodian to enjoy that classic 1950’s ‘wind in the hair’ motoring experience and adapt to the true art of classic, analogue driving, which rewards your input and keeps you engaged, a far experience from modern overly assisted cars.
