Beautifully Presented, this 1954 Austin Healey 100 BN1, was Delivered New by Larke Hoskins & Co. Ltd. the NSW Distributor for Austin Healeys, Representing One of Just 405 BN1’s Sold New into Australia over the Span of 3 Years.

In 1966 the Healey was Sold to Lance Dixon in Melbourne and Subsequently was Purchased in 1968, from Chequered Flag Motors by Gentleman from Monbulk Victoria. The Healey was Taken Off the Road in 1972 after an Incident and Remained Relatively Untouched Until 1999.

A Restoration was Embarked Over the Next 10-12 years, but Not Completed Due to the Owner’s Declining Health, with the Most Recent Owner Purchasing the Partially Restored Healey in 2013, then Proceeding to Dismantle the Healey and Carry Out a More Detailed and Thorough Restoration, which was Completed in February 2015 some 43 Years After it was Last on the Road.

The Lovely Spruce Green Bodywork with Complementing Dark Green Leather Seats and Matching Dark Green Carpets are Period Correct and are Finished to a Standard Well Above Average. The Weather Equipment includes a Soft Top Hood and Tonneau Cover also in Dark Green, while the Chrome Wire Wheels Adds an Extra Accent as does all the Brilliant Chromework.

Under-Bonnet Upgrades include a Ceramic Coated Extractor Exhaust, Hi-Torque Starter Motor, Spin-On Oil Filter Conversion, and a Polished Alloy Rocker Cover with Flip-Top Filler Lid.

Accompanying the Healey is a Comprehensive Receipt File, Containing Detailed Expenditure during the Restoration the BN1’s British Motor Heritage Industry Trust Heritage Certificate, Original Handbook, Original Service Manual and Factory Tool Kit.
