A DUOTONE 100 MPH CLASSIC

The Austin Healey 100, Released in 1952 became an Instant Success with its Stylish Lines, Sketched by Gerry Coker, these Lines Remained the Styling Basis for Big Healeys Until Production Ceased in 1967. To many Enthusiasts the Original Austin Healey 100 Powered by the 2660cc Austin 4 Cylinder Engine Remains the Purest of Donald Healey’s Creations.

This Austin Healey 100 (BN1) is a Very Tidy Example and Presents Exceptionally Well, Finished in Duotone Black over Red, Finished with a Red Leather Interior and Matching Red Carpets. A Near New Black Fabric Soft Top and Side Screens are also Supplied for when the Weather takes an Unexpected Turn.

This Healey 4 Cylinder Engine has been Recently Fitted with a New Aluminium Cylinder Head, these have a Number of Advantages, including: Superior Heat Transfer, Improved Flow Characteristics, Modern Valve Guide Materials, Hardened Valve Seat Inserts (which Allow the Use of Unleaded Fuels) and are Also Considerably Lighter than the Original Cast Iron Cylinder Head.

The Lusty, Long Stroke 4 Cylinder Engine, Mated to the 3 Speed, Overdrive Equiped All-Synchro Gearbox Provides an Extremely Rewarding Driving Experience, Capable of Always having the Torque to Keep Pulling Up the Hill or Around the Corner you have the Healey Pointed at.

This Beautiful Example of an Austin Healey 100 is Ideally Suited to those Special Weekend Drives Through the Hills or out on the Open Road, and for when you are Feeling Adventurous, you can Fold Down the Windscreen and Partake in the True Open Roadster Experience.
