1954 AUSTIN HEALEY 100

LMCT 7819
SN:3990

RECENTLY REPAINTED IN REGAL RED

The Austin Healey 100, Released in 1952 became an Instant Success with its Stylish Lines, Sketched by Gerry Coker, these Lines Remained the Styling Basis for Big Healeys Until Production Ceased in 1967. To many Enthusiasts the Original Austin Healey 100 Powered by the 2660cc Austin 4 Cylinder Engine Remains the Purest of Donald Healey’s Creations.

Recently Repainted In Regal Red, this BN1 has Large Eye Appeal, with it’s Lovely Brightwork Accented by the 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels, while the Interior is Smart in Black with Red Piping, Highlighted by a Black Leather MotoLita Steering Wheel.

Otherwise Very Mechanically Standard, the Healey Performs Very Well, with the Front Brakes Uprated to 3000 MkII Discs, now Boasts Significantly Improved Brake Performance, Allowing for More Consistent Stopping, Without the Worry of Brake Fade.

Weather Equipment Consists of a Recently Tailored, Black Tonnea Cover, and an Aged Soft Top with Good Frame, in Need of Repair as well as a Pair of Side Curtains

This BN1 Delivers Superb Period Performance, with its Long Stroke 4 Cylinder Engine Coupled to the 3 Speed All Synchro-Mesh Gearbox (The only one Ever Offered in an Austin Healey) with Over-Drive Providing Excellent, Long-Legged Cruising Ability and Flexibility. The Healey is Equally at Home Cruising the Open Road or Winding its way through the Hills and will Produce Grins from Ear to Ear.
