TRULY A TOP CLASS TC

Following the End of WWII, MG Introduced the TC, Produced in Only Right Hand Drive Configuration, the Roadster was Aimed Towards the Young and Adventurous who were Now Able to Claim Back Their Youth. Widely Acknowledged as the Catalyst of the Postwar Sports-Car Revolution in the USA, with the American GI’s Based in the UK and Europe having Fallen In Love with their Lightweight, Sporting Characteristics.

Presenting Stunningly in Brilliant Black, this TC was Taken Off the Road for More Than 20 Years, with the Extensive and Comprehensive Restoration Completed in 2001, a True Credit to the Restorers and Custodians, who have Produced and Maintained the MG to a Truly Top Class Standard.

The Lustrous Black Paintwork is Complemented by the Rebuilt 19” Painted Wire Wheels, Chrome Bodied Headlights, Chrome Grille Shell with Painted Biscuit Vertical Slats and Matching Superb Leather Trimmed Interior. The Walnut Veneered Dashboard is Adorned by Restored Jaegar Instruments and a Bluemel’s Brooklands Steering Wheel.

Mechanically Restored to Standard, with the Only Obvious Deviation being the Spin-On Oil Filter, Providing Better Filtration, and Superior Ease of Servicing, while Invoices and Service History Show that the Differential’s Crown Wheel and Pinion were Changed to Provide a 4.875:1 Ratio, Rather Than the Original 5.1:1, Resulting in Longer Legs, for a Greater Touring Capacity. The Wire Wheels are Fitted with Correct, Excelsior 19×4.50 Cross-Ply Tyres, Ensure that the Steering is Still Light, Whilst the High Aspect Ratio Provides a Compliant Ride.

Accompanying the TC is a Large History File, Detailing the Ownership from 1962 Onwards, Including a Photo and Purchase Invoice From 1962, as well as Photos Taken During Part of the Restoration, and Invoices Starting in 1982, All Showing the Level Of Care and Attention to Detail that was Taken Both During and After the Restoration.
