Starting out life, just like any other Fiat Topolino 500 Produced Between 1936 and 1955, it Originally Featured a 569cc Four Cylinder Side Valve Engine mated to a 4 Speed Gearbox with the choice of, a Two Door Saloon, Convertible Saloon or Van.

This Seriously Re-imagined Topolino Stands Out from the Crowd, with Brilliant Orange Paintwork, Custom Fabricated Chassis, Chrome Plated Exposed Control Arms & Steering Links, Rear Coilovers, combined with Cycle type Guards both Front and Rear which to add to the Street Rod Styling.

Since it was First Constructed in 1988 it has seen some Major Changes, with a File of Engineering Certificates and a Photo Accompanying the Fiat showing that it was Originally Fitted with a 250 cubic inch Ford 6 Cylinder Engine coupled to a Ford C4 Automatic Transmission, a Specification it Remained in for a Number of Years.

An Engineering Certificate dated August 2009 Confirms Compliance as a Modified Production Vehicle (NSW RTA) after the Fitment of a 1.6L Toyota 20 Valve 4A-GE Engine and 5 Speed T50 Toyota Gearbox, new Magnum 3″ Drop Axle at the Front, whilst still Retaining some Previously Engineered Components such as the Brake and Steering Setup. A Micro Tech Engine Management System now Controls both the Ignition and the Sequential Multi-Point Fuel Injection Allowing Optimum Performance. The Engine Features Custom Individual Inlet Manifolds with K&N Filters, Ceramic Coated Extractors, Top and Front Custom Engine Covers, an Aluminium Radiator with Billet Overflow Tank and Electric Cooling Fan.

The Cockpit is Cosy, with Two Individual Bucket Seats in Matching Orange Vinyl, the Floor and Transmission Tunnel being in Raw Aluminium, along with the Custom Instrument and Switch Panel while a 13” Sports Steering Wheel points the Fiat in the Right Direction.

With a Weight of Only 840 kg and a Healthy Toyota 4A-GE and 5 Speed this Topolino has Great Performance Potential. Having Previously been Granted Engineering Approval and Registration in NSW, the Topolino Also Meets the VicRoads Requirements for ‘M Plates’.
