INTELLIGENTLY UPGRADED BRITISH ROADSTER
October 1955 Marked the Introduction of One of Triumph’s Most Successful Models, the Triumph TR3, with Approximately 75,000 Examples Produced between 1955 and 1962, a Winner of Races, Rallies and the Adoration of the Road Going Market.
Released in September of 1957, the Updated Triumph TR3, Commonly Referred to as the ‘TR3A’ (which was Not an Official Factory Designation) Included Predominantly Exterior and Interior Cosmetic Changes such as a Wider Grille, External Door Handles and the Luxury of a Lockable Boot.
This Sparkling Red TR3A with it’s Brilliant Chrome Wire Wheels is Complemented by a Beautiful Black Interior Including Seats, Carpets Door-Cards and Dash, with only a Wood Rimmed Steering Wheel to Contrast the Black.
Mechanically the TR has seen a Number of Intelligent Upgrades, Including Rack and Pinion Steering, 4 Piston Front Disc Brake Callipers, a VH44 Brake Booster, an Alternator and Thermatic Fan All Being Fitted.
The 2 Litre Four Cylinder Engine has been Fitted with a Triumph-Tune Alloy Rocker Cover and is Remarkably Strong; Well and Truly Impressing Those who have had the Chance to get Behind the Wheel. The 4 Speed Manual with Overdrive is Likewise in Fantastic Form, and when Added to the Uprated Brakes and Steering Provides a Truly Exhilarating British Roadster Experience.
