The 996 was Introduced in 1998, and with it came Many Changes to the Iconic 911, with the Biggest Being a Move Away from Air-Cooling of the Engine, to Water-Cooling. The 996 was Also a Physically Larger 911 than it’s Predecessor, Allowing for a Noticeably More Spacious Cabin. The Carrera 4S Stands Out from the Other 996’s with its Wider Turbo Style Body, Brakes and Suspension

This ‘Black on Black’ Carrera 4S was Sold New through Porsche Centre Melbourne on 2nd May 2003, with it’s accompanying Service & Maintenance Book shows that it Subsequently Resided in the ACT and NSW before Returning to Victoria, While Also Confirming that the Infamous IMS Bearing was Replaced with the LNengineering Uprated item by Autohaus Hamilton on the 15th of January 2014.

Since Arriving back in Victoria the Carrera has been Serviced and Maintained by Porsche Centre Doncaster and then Cairns Classic Modern Porsche Services. A number of Upgrades have been added, such as the ‘TopGear’ 2.5” 200 Cell Sports Cats, ‘Fister’ Muffler Modification, ‘Design 911’ 4 Tube Tail Pipes and the Replacement of the Factory Black Seat Belts with Red, Genuine Porsche items. The Front Guards, Bonnet, Front Bumper and front of Rear Guards have been fitted with Stone Guard Protection whilst the Tail Lights have been tinted Darker to blend with the Stunning Black Exterior.

With less than 85,000km on the Odometer this 2003 Carrera 4S Performs Impeccably, with all the All Wheel Drive Providing Superior Roadholding, while the 3.6L Flat Six Allows a Near 5 Second 0-100km/h Sprint, all as you would expect from the Legendary Porsche name.
