#407 – 53,600KM QUICKSILVER COUPE

The Third Generation Holden Monaro was introduced in November 2001, 24 years after the final Second Gen HZ, the Holden Special Vehicles variants were introduced at the same time. Based on the VX Series Holden Commodore, the Monaro and the HSV Coupe reintroduced a higher specification, two door coupe to the line up, offered initially with either a Supercharged V6 or iconic LS1 V8.

Sold new through ‘Garry and Warren Smith HSV’ and Delivered new on the 8th of August 2002, this Quicksilver HSV Coupe GTO, serial numbered #407 is a very early example and features the 255kW 5.7L LS1, mated to a 4 Speed TH4L60-E Automatic, applying 475Nm to the road through 18×8 HSV Alloy Wheels shod in 235/40R18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Tyres.

With less than 53,600km showing on the Odometer, this GTO has been lovingly cared for and kept bone stock, even retaining it’s dealer fitted Nokia Phone holder. Finished in a combination of Leather and Lismore in contrasting Black & Red the Coupe’s cabin is exceptionally comfortable and well appointed with Dual Zone Climate Control, Cruise Control and a Eurovox Maestro Stereo system including a 10 Disc CD Stacker.

With full books including HSV Build Number #407 Certificate, Original Inspection & Drive Evaluation Report, HSV Coupe Sales Brochure and H.S.V Club Pamphlets, nothing has been lost or thrown away. The Service books show that the HSV was used regularly until 2007, from which the Coupe was given a very gentle life, travelling under 23,000km in the following 17 years. Last serviced January 2024 by Northern Automatics, the HSV performs perfectly and is ready for you to enjoy.
