The 996 was Introduced in 1998, and with it came Many Changes to the Iconic 911, with the Biggest Being a Move Away from Air-Cooling of the Engine, to Water-Cooling. The 996 was also a Physically Larger 911 than it’s Predecessor, Allowing for a Noticeably Larger Cabin Space, all while Reducing the Weight of the Porsche by 50kg.
