The 911SC’s 3 litre engine was completely redesigned for the New 911 3.2 Carrera, with the displacement uprated to 3164cc, Providing both a power and torque increase. To further improve the new generation, the disc brake rotors were enlarged, allowing better heat regulation, the serpentine oil lines were replaced by a finned oil cooler, and hydraulic chain tensioners were fitted as standard.

This Australian delivered 3.2 (217 BHP) 5 Speed, Carrera is finished in Midnight blue over grey leather upholstery with a Momo steering wheel and upgraded Sony Compact Disc sound system. The narrow body with electric sunroof has been enhanced to a Turbo look, with a Turbo style whale tail and flared wheel arches, housing Deep Dish 18” 964 Turbo style alloys.

Known as the last of the simple 911’s the 3.2 Carrera is highly regarded for being strong and reliable, with this 1986 ‘G-Program’ example proving to be just that. This 911 has been well maintained over its life being serviced by Porsche specialists including Gulson Canberra – Porsche Centre, Spyder Automobiles and Auto Coupe. Having been used sparingly over more recent years, this Porsche has been recently serviced by Auto Coupe, ready to be used and enjoyed.
