1978 MGB MkII ROADSTER
LMCT 7819
SN:4093
ONE AUSTRALIAN OWNER FOR 21 YEARS!
On its Release in 1962 the MGB became an Instant Success. The New Monocoque Body Provided a Much Stronger Body Unit Assembly when Vompared to all Previous MG’s which had Separate Body and Chassis. The Modern Clean and Smooth Styling was a Departure from the Classic Square Rigger Styling of the MG “T” Series which were Produced Between 1936 and 1955 and that of the MGA in the Late 1950’s.
Following its Importation to Australia, this US Delivered MGB was Converted to RHD, this being Confirmed by the Accompanying Engineering Approval Dated 5th January 2001. The Sole Owner from 2001 has also Provided a File containing Receipts for Various Expenditure on Service and Maintenance.
The MGB Presents Well Finished in Classic Carmine Red with Matching Black Interior, Accented by a ‘Barcetta’ Wood Rimmed Steering Wheel, a ‘Rally Style’ Billet Gear Knob with Overdrive Switch Integrated and a Sony Stereo Radio/Cassette Player.
For Your Comfort, a Smiths Heater will keep You Warm, while the Recoil Seatbelts will keep You Secure in Your Headrest Equipped Leather Seats, and if the Weather Turns a Near New Black Vinyl Soft-Top will Provide You Protection.
Mechanically Standard, with only: the Factory Steel Wheels Replaced by 14”x6” ‘Minilite’ style Performance Alloy Wheels, Twin K&N Air Filters, an Extractor Exhaust System, H4 Headlights and a ‘Limited Edition’ Style Fibreglass Front Spoiler, Resulting in a Well Balance Package, Providing Both Sporting Performance, and Comfortable Cruising.
