Introduced in 1962, the MG B was MG’s First Truly Modern Sportscar, with Monocoque Construction, Allowing a Lighter and More Rigid Body, a Huge Advance from the MGA’s Separate Chassis & Body Construction Utilising Wooden Floors!

Continuing Production Well Past the Intended 5 Year Life Cycle, the Last MG B Rolled Off of the Abingdon Production Line on the 23rd of October 1980, as the 523,836th Example Built.

Over their 18 Year Production the MG B Evolved, with the Final Major Update Introduced in 1974 with the Implementation of Black Rubber Impact Bumpers, Designed to Allow the MG to meet New Safety Regulations.

This Striking Red MG B was Built in December 1975, as a Left Hand Drive, American Specification Example with Factory Optioned Over Drive. After Arriving in Australia the MG was Converted to Right Hand Drive, an Easy Conversion Without Need for Cutting or Welding.

Since that time the MG has been Very Well Looked After, with Invoices Showing Regular Service Work, a Repaint in 2013, Full Braking System Overhaul in 2015, Fitment of Electronic Ignition in 2019 and Much More.
