On its release in 1962, the MGB became an Instant Success, with the path set for a series which would continue in production for 18 Years, selling over 500,000 examples. The clean lines, proportions and relatively simple mechanicals were a hit with enthusiasts, of all skill levels. Followed 3 years later was the GT variant, with their coupe styling offering many advantages including: reduced road noise, a weatherproof cabin, a much larger amount of usable storage space, rear seats and most importantly a lockable and secure cabin.

This MGB GT has enormous eye-appeal, finished in metallic silver with the popular early MkII grill & bumper over-riders and sitting nicely on 15” period, 8 spoke Superlite alloy wheels. The interior trim is finished in black leather, new carpets and roof-lining were fitted in 2013 and features a Moto-Lita leather bound sports steering wheel, leather gear-knob and a Clarion stereo radio with Bluetooth fitted for your entertainment.

The history file dating back to 1997, accompanying the GT shows it has travelled less than 2,000 miles since a comprehensive engine re-build as well as expenditure in excess of $25,000 since 2020. Sensible upgrades include: a brake booster, electronic ignition, spin-on oil filter, thematic fan and electric power steering.
