Launched in March 1961, the Fabulous E-Type Jaguar was greeted with World Wide Acclaim and is revered by Enthusiasts to this day as one of the British Motor Industry’s greatest achievements. Even the great Enzo Ferrari reportedly called it “The Most Beautiful Car Ever Made”

Following the success of the Original 3.8L variants the 4.2L was introduced, providing the same level of Power and Top Speed, with the added bonus of almost 18% more torque allowing for an improved driving experience. The Series 2 was released in 1968 and continued in production until 1971.
