Launched in March 1961, the fabulous E-Type Jaguar was greeted with World Wide Acclaim and is Revered by enthusiasts to this day as one of the British Motor Industry’s Greatest Achievements.

This Beautifully Presented 1969 E-Type finished in Sable has had only 7 owners since new. Originally US delivered in March 1969 it resided with its first owner in California until 1975 before being acquired by the second owner in Michigan where it stayed until 1988. In 1989 the E-Type returned to its birthplace in the UK and was subsequently converted from LHD to RHD in 1990. Photographs from 1990 show the E-Type underwent a Bare Metal Respray. It remained in the UK with its third, fourth and fifth owners until 2012.

In 2012 the E-Type moved to Australia with the sixth owner after which it was acquired by the seventh owner in January 2013. The new owner then embarked on a Serious Mechanical Restoration of the vehicle which was carried out by Respected Jaguar Specialists V&A Spiteri. A Comprehensive file of receipts Detailing the Mechanical Work and Significant Expenditure accompanies the car. The file also contains Complete Ownership Records of all the previous owners, including dates.

The Dedication of this owner to his pride and joy (affectionately known as “Eve”) is obvious, with his documentation of the history and the restoration work carried out whilst it was in his care.

This E-Type Series 2 now needs a new custodian to both care for and enjoy all that comes from being part of this Classic Jaguar’s continuing history.
