FACTORY CANDY APPLE RED AUTOMATIC GT

Introduced in March of 1968, the XT Falcon GT was more than just a facelift of the previous (and first) GT Falcon the XR, with the updated styling, also came colour options other than ‘G.T. Gold’, the option for an Automatic Transmission and an Increase in the capacity of the Windsor V8 from 289ci to 302ci.

This Genuine ‘Candy Apple Red’ XT GT, is One of Just 25 said to have been produced in 1968 out of the year’s 1135 build total, making it a Highly Desirable, and Attractive colour combination with the ‘No Option’ Black trim.

Ordered with the ‘New to Falcon GT’ Optional 3 Speed Automatic, a Rare Choice at the time, this XT presents as a Restored Example, with it’s Correct 14” Steel wheels & Stainless Hub Caps, as well as it’s Factory Standard Interior in Exceptional Condition.

Under the bonnet the Windsor 302ci V8 is supported by a Holley Performance 4 Bbl Carburettor, Electronic Ignition, A Thermatic Fan, a VH 40 Brake Booster and Importantly Power Steering.
