UPRATED EARLY AUSSIE BUILT MINI
This Great Looking, Australian Built 1963 Morris Mini Presents Exceptionally Well, finished in Grey with a White Roof and Built as a Tribute to the Iconic Mini Cooper in Both Appearance and Performance.
The Original 848cc Engine has been Uprated to a Later 998cc Unit from a Leyland Mini and is Fitted with a Single HS4 SU Carburettor, an Extractor Exhaust System and an Alloy Radiator to Keep the Engine Temperature Under Control.
To Match the Increased Performance and to Improve Safety in Today’s Driving Conditions the Original Drum Front Brakes have been Upgraded to Disc Brakes. While the Generator has been Replace by an Alternator and the Headlights have also been Upgraded to H4.
The Cockpit looks Exceptionally Smart, with a Wood-Rimmed MotoLita Steering Wheel Contrasting the Front and Rear Seats, Finished in Red Vinyl with Light Grey Vinyl Inserts as are the Door Trim Panels, Complemented by the Rich Red Carpets. The Mini has also been Fitted with 10” MiniLite Style Alloy Wheels and ‘Cooper’ Badges Front and Rear which Further Enhance the Period Look.
