On its Release in 1962 the MGB became an Instant Success. The New Monocoque Body Provided a Much Stronger Body Unit Assembly when Compared to all Previous MG’s which had Separate Body and Chassis. The Modern Clean and Smooth Styling of the MGB was ahead of it’s time and it went on to become the Most Popular Sports Car Ever with more than Half a Million made between 1962 and 1980.
The Early, ‘Pull Door Handle’ MGB MkI is the Purest all the MGBs. This very well restored 1963 example Presents Superbly in its Gleaming and Rare Aqua Coachwork which is Complemented by a lovely Black Interior.
Mechanically Sound and Driving Well, the 1.8 Litre Engine is in Fine Tune and together with the Four Speed Gearbox Delivering a Fantastic Note, Good Period Performance and Tight Feedback from the Rack and Pinion Steering. The Engine also features a High Torque Starter Motor and optional Oil Cooler for added Reliability.
