A LOVELY PULL OUT DOOR HANDLE ‘B’
On its Release in 1962 the MGB became an Instant Success. The New Monocoque Body Provided a Much Stronger Body Unit Assembly when Compared to all Previous MG’s which had Separate Body and Chassis. The Modern Clean and Smooth Styling was a Departure from the Classic Square Rigger Styling of the MG “T” Series, Produced between 1936 and 1955.
This Early, ‘Pull Out Door Handle’ MGB MkI is a Tidy Example, with a Lovely Black Interior Trim and Soft Top Complementing the Rich Red Bodywork. Mechanically Sound and Driving Well, the 1.8 Litre Engine is in Fine Tune and the Four Speed Gearbox has just been Rebuilt (By MG Workshops), Together Delivering a Fantastic Note, Good Period Performance and Tight Feedback from the Rack and Pinion Steering.
Incredibly Easy to Drive Amongst Modern Traffic, the MG B Feels At Home, Touring Through the Hills, Down Coastal Roads, To the Milk Bar or even on Your Way to Work in the Morning.
Wind Up Windows, Pivoting Quarter Vents, an Optional Smiths Heater and a Stowable Soft Top will all help to keep you On Track, No Matter the Conditions.
