UPRATED PAST 3000 MkII SPECIFICATION

Sold New in Late 1958, this Austin Healey Started Life as a ‘Standard’ 100/6, Meaning that it Drove Off the Production Line with Bolt-On Disc Wheels and a Non-Overdrive 4 Speed Gearbox. When Restored the BN4 would Transform to Specification Surpassing the 3000 MkII.

During the Restoration the Body and Chassis were Stripped to Bare Metal before being Repaired and Built up to Better Than New Standard, this time in the Striking, and Very Period Colour Scheme of Yellow/Dark Blue with Matching Dark Blue Leather Interior and Sparkling 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels. Externally the Healey has been Re-Badged to Reflect the Changes in Specification and so Now Wears ‘3000’ Badges.

Fitted with a 3000 Engine of 2912cc, Including 12 Port Head the 100/6 was Further Improved with the Fitment of: Electronic Ignition, an Extractor Exhaust System, Triple 2” SU Carburettors, Alloy Radiator, Alternator, Spin On Oil Filter, 3000 Series Disc Brakes, a Brake Booster and an Overdrive Gearbox.
