~3,000 MILES SINCE CONCOURSE RESTORATION

Replacing the original Austin Healey 100, the 100/6 was introduced in August 1956, the new 6 cylinder Healey featured 2+2 seating aided by its longer wheelbase, as well as an external fuel filler and door handles.

This Austin Healey 100/6, was built in Longbridge on the 3rd of June 1957 and was exported to St Louis, Missouri U.S.A, with the accompanying heritage certificate confirming this BN4 retains its matching numbers.

Making its way to Australia, this Healey was comprehensively restored to concourse standard in the late 1990s. Sold by The Healey Factory in late 1998 to the most recent owner, the BN4 has travelled a mere ~3,000 miles since completion!

Presenting very well in its original colour combination of Colorado Red, accented by the sparkling brightwork, including 72-spoke chrome wire wheels, complemented by the rich, red leather interior matched, with a wood-rimmed Moto-lita steering wheel. The weather equipment is complete, consisting of a soft-top and tonneau cover both finished in black vinyl, with removable sliding perspex side screens.

The mechanicals have been uprated with factory componentry, including a later 100/6’s 12 Port Head and a factory optional Overdrive, while more recently the Healey has been given a thorough service, ready to be used and enjoyed including, but not limited to: fitment of a new fuel pump, a new battery, a flush of the fuel system, bleeding of the brake & clutch hydraulics and a change of the engine, gearbox and differential oils.
