BLACK BEAUTY ‘T-TYPE’

The MG TF is considered by many Enthusiasts to be the Most Attractive of the Traditional T-types with the Lower Bonnet Line, Sloping Grille and Headlights Moulded in to the Front Guards.

This 1953 MG TF was Originally fitted with the 1250cc XPAG engine, whilst later 1955 TF’s had the More Powerful 1466cc XPEG engine. In 2010 the Original 1250cc Engine and Corresponding Gearbox were Replaced with a Fully Reconditioned MGA 1489cc ‘B’ Series and 4 Speed Gearbox. This Provided a Significant Power Increase and Improved the Performance of the TF Quite Noticeably.

Having Undergone a Comprehensive Mechanical, Chassis, Body and Interior Restoration in 2010 this TF presents As New, with its Stunning Black Paintwork and Rich Red Interior Trim. A New High Quality, Black Fabric Soft-Top and Matching Side Screens complete this Very Impressive Package. Accompanying the TF is a File Containing Invoices for parts and various Work Undertaken during the Restoration.

The TF drives Extremely Well with the engine Providing Better Than Period Square Rigger MG performance. These ‘T’ series MG’s are all about the Classic Driving Experience, the low slung doors, the firm suspension, the short throw gearshift, precise rack and pinion steering and wind in the hair are all part of this period style motoring. It is something to enjoy and appreciate exactly what made these cars so popular in their time.
