1966 DAIMLER 250 SEDAN
LMCT 7819
SN:3907
3.8L MANUAL OVERDRIVE CONVERSION
The Daimler Variant of Jaguar’s MkII, the 250 Sedan, was Introduced in Late 1962, Offered with a 2.5L V8 Engine and Only an Automatic Transmission, Until 1967 when the 4 Speed Non-Overdrive Manual was Introduced. Due to Brand Politics, the Daimler was Positioned Above the 2.4L MkII, but Under Both the 3.4L and 3.8L.
This Stunning White Daimler 250 has seen Significant Upgrades with Removal of the 2.5 V8 and Automatic Transmission, Replaced by a Genuine Jaguar MkII 3.8 Litre Engine and a XJ6 4 Speed Manual Gearbox with OverDrive, Transforming the Daimler’s Performance and Driving Experience.
Finished in Iconic White with Spats, Chrome Wire Wheels, Superb Brightwork and a Lovely Contrasting Deep Leather Interior Trim, Accented by the Superb Burr Walnut Dashboard and Door Cappings, this Daimler is the Epitome of Classic British Sporting Saloons.
Invoice History Shows Recent Major Attention to the Daimler, Including an Engine Rebuild in January 2019, Attention to the Overdrive in February 2019, Replacement of the Clutch in April 2019 and a Brake Overhaul in May 2019, All Bringing the Mechanical Package Up to the Outstanding Standard of the Rest of the Daimler.
