Produced between 2004 and 2013, the first generation ‘1 Series’ replaced the ‘3 Series’ compact as the entry level BMW, initially only offered in a 5 door hatchback (E87), with the 3 door hatchback (E81) following in May 2007, before the Coupe (E82) and Convertible (E88) finalised the lineup in November 2007.

This Monaco Blue 125i with tan leather interior was sold by BMW Melbourne on the 5th of June 2009 and has travelled just ~120,000km, an average of 7,500km per year and retains its two keys, original wallet & books including full service history, showing the last service to have been completed in August 2025.

Powered by the 160kW/270NM N52 3-litre inline straight six cylinder engine matched with a smooth Steptronic six speed automatic transmission delivering power to the rear wheels, the near 50:50 weight distribution keeps the BMW comfortable as you accelerate to 100km/h in just 7.5 seconds.

Inside the climate controlled cabin the appointments are extensive, including: heated leather seats, leather trimmed steering wheel and gear selector, steering wheel mounted gear shift paddles, and Bluetooth phone connectivity, while parking is aided by rear park assist sensors. With the push of a button the electronically operated fabric roof will open or close in approximately 18 seconds.
