From Monte Carlo to Bathurst, Alex Issigonis’ Revolutionary Mini has Always Punched Above its Weight. In Cooper ‘S’ form, the Reliable Passenger Car became an Affordable, Practical Sports Sedan, that could be Driven from the School Drop Off to the Track.

This Genuine MkI Cooper S was Originally Finished in Special Burgundy Red, and was Purchased by it’s Last Owner as a 3 Year Old Car. Over the Following 48 Years the Mini was Cherished, and Regularly Used.

Just out of a Period of Dry Storage, the Mini is In Need of a New Owner, Ready and Willing to get their Hands Dirty and Bring this Genuine Cooper S Back Up to the Standard it Deserves.

Requiring Bodywork Repairs Including Rust Removal & Paintwork, a Mechanical Overhaul, as well as Trim Work and Replacement of the Incorrect Mini Clubman Front Seats.

Retaining All of it’s Original Cooper S Specific Componentry, this Mini is a Genuine Shell, with Correct, Matching Numbers Evident on the ID Plate, Firewall, Radiator Support Panel and Engine Block.

The Engine has been Started, but Showed No Oil Pressure, so was Quickly Shutdown, as such the Mini Cannot be Safely Moved Under it’s Own Power Until the Engine’s Health has been Assessed.
