The second generation Camaro was launched in 1970 and ran for 11 years. Built as an ‘All-New Car’ the second generation featured vastly more refined steering, braking and balance after advise & development from Chevrolet’s racing team.

Presented in ‘Sign Blue’ paintwork with Black ‘Speed Stripes’ sitting on 15” US Mags Rambler chrome rims, this Camaro will delight the American Muscle Car Enthusiast.

Originally sold through David Varner Chevrolet, of San Francisco California, this Camaro still retains it’s original build sheet! Gaining Import Approval in April 2009, the Chevrolet made it’s way to Australia.

Since its arrival, the Camaro has been registered in Queensland, New South Whales, Tasmania and Victoria (on a club permit), with engineering and compliance documentation for both Queensland and New South Whales, providing confidence for the next custodian.

The original 5 litre V8 engine benefits from a free flowing extractor exhaust system (2 ¼”) and a 600 CFM 4 barrel carburettor with electric choke, mounted to a Summit racing intake manifold, while internally it has been uprated with ‘Crow Cams’ hydraulic lifters & their ‘Mild Hot Rod’ camshaft.

For improved reliability the Chev has been fitted with the following: a brass and copper radiator with 16” thematic fan, a 140amp alternator, Edelbrock water pump and upgraded H4 headlamps.
